Un chip Hall detecta el cambio de polo magn\u00e9tico para generar una se\u00f1al de frecuencia determinada. El caudal de agua es linealmente proporcional a la frecuencia de salida. Ofrece un amplio rango de caudales (de 2 a 30 litros\/minuto), un rendimiento estable, resistencia a altas temperaturas de hasta 85 \u00b0C y a presiones de agua de hasta 18 kg, adem\u00e1s de un bajo costo. Entre sus aplicaciones t\u00edpicas se incluyen la detecci\u00f3n del flujo en calentadores de agua de aire forzado y calderas murales de gas, lo que permite controlar el caudal y, por consiguiente, la regulaci\u00f3n del termostato. Tambi\u00e9n puede utilizarse en otros equipos que requieran la detecci\u00f3n del flujo de l\u00edquido, como dispensadores de agua a gran escala, equipos m\u00e9dicos, cafeteras, lavavajillas,
