The working process of the wind pressure switch is as follows:
When the gas water heater is working normally, the pressure inside the exhaust pipe will be higher than the atmospheric pressure, and this pressure signal will be transferred to the piston of the wind pressure switch through the hose, which will make the piston move downward and press the microswitch, so that the circuit will be closed and the gas water heater will continue to work.
When the gas water heater malfunctions, such as exhaust pipe blockage, excessive wind, incomplete combustion, etc., the pressure in the exhaust pipe will be lower than the atmospheric pressure, and this pressure signal will be transmitted to the piston of the wind pressure switch through the hose, which will make the piston move upward, release the micro switch, so that the circuit will be closed, and the gas water heater will stop working, so as to ensure the safety of users.
Wind pressure switch is one of the important safety devices of gas water heater, its principle is simple but effective, can effectively prevent the safety hazards of gas water heater.
